CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/EX. Vinyl is super clean with a really nice dark sheen. Side One has a 1cm surface line on "Battle Of Evermore" and a very soft light hairline when tilted to light. The hairline on its own would probably not prevent visual EX grade. Side 2 is better than EX, not far off NM both visually and sound wise. Played all of this today on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Music is really clean, clear and loud throughout. No crackle or background sound and silence between the tracks. "Battle Of Evermore" has around 6-7 soft ticks that you might not even notice unless listening for them but otherwise sounds really clean. "Stairway To Heaven" plays immaculately. Side 2 plays immaculately, clean and clear throughout. "Going to California" plays immaculately, super-clean. Gate fold cover is in very clean condition, way better than is usually seen. It is firm and square and has only light edge wear, light corner wear and minimal creasing. The inside of the gate fold is very, very clean. Inner sleeve is also really clean, one of the best I have seen. It is has less than light wear, no feathering and no splits. Very clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.
PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LED ZEPPELIN/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
