Led Zeppelin IV

 

De Luxe 2401012 Atlantic plum/red label format with mega rare misprinted title. Was soon found that some labels had gone through the press with TOP instead of Misty Mountain HOP ! hardly any were printed with this error on and was soon rectified, so a very scarce pressing indeed and becoming more and more difficult to locate.

Considered to be Zeppelin’s finest album release .If you are looking  for one of the best aural deliveries of this magnificent release then look no further! Black Dog is always the test piece for this audio as there are a few silent pauses between the intro which normally transmits with crackles/hisses etc. the intro on this track is very near perfect, displaying the clearest of channels. Absolutely sensational with each guitar strum/percussion beat delivered crystal clear with hardly any surface disturbance. This standard is exemplary especially found on a progressive rock classic such as this, where most are found heavily played and on a rare pressing such as this, is quite unbelievable.

 

AA rarity indeed , as the plum Atlantic labels are in excellent condition displaying the scarce misprint of Misty Mountain Top instead of HOP. So an incredible collectors’ item on offer here! So please do not miss.

 

VVinyl

TThick pressing with a few light surface but no scratches and reflects a mirror like sheen. Well cared for vinyl and a pleasure to view.

 

InInner sleeve

OOriginal soft brown textured inner sleeve with track titles/lyrics.

LLower edge seam split 5cms. And 2 small tears on either side

oof opening edge. Very good condition as side seams are tightly

cclosed.

 

GGatefold sleeve

FFragile unlaminated original with some lower edge wear.

VVery good condition with no rips/tears.

 

RRare plum/red labels with mega rare misprint, proving to be very elusive and impossible to locate now.

WWith one of the best aural deliveries ever heard  from this classic Zeppelin release, will find very difficult to match.
