Led Zeppelin IV "Zoso" (LP) Atlantic SD 7208 (Stereo)
Original US pressing from Nov 1971 (matrix suffix RI, i.e. pressed by Philips Record, Richmond, Indiana), with gatefold jacket and custom cardboard-like inner sleeve.
1841 Broadway, New York labels. "PORKY" / "PECKO DUCK" stampers.

This fourth Zeppelin studio album is technically untitled, per Jimmy Page's demand. This release is sometimes referred to as their "Zoso" album, a reference to the Aleister Crowley symbols featured on the record labels and on the custom inner paper sleeve. (See photos)
Noteworthy for Richard Thompson / Fairport Convention fans (I'm a huge one !!!), Sandy Denny sings with Plant on "The Battle Of Evermore".
Vinyl: EX
The wax plays just shy of near mint. The sound quality here is absolutely superb. Great presence and clarity on this brilliantly recorded album. Few light superficial surface marks present but do not significantly impact sound. Faint surface noise audible between tracks and during some quiet passages, characteristic of Atlantic wax of that era. High gloss. Nice clean copy.
Note: In the area of track 3 on Side One ("The Battle Of Evermore"), a cosmetic defect is present, created in the manufacture of this wax. The defect exhibits itself as a low gloss trapezoid shape (see photos). This odd defect, present the day I bought this LP, is purely cosmetic and has no impact on sound quality.
Labels are bright and clean. No spindle marks.

Jacket: Near Mint
The jacket looks just shy of "like new".
Front & back and gatefold photos are near perfect.
Top and bottom seams are essentially flawless.
Spine has a minor flaw, approx. 1/2 inch of rub wear near top (see photos).
No splits, labels, writing, stamps or barcode.
Includes custom printed cardboard-like inner sleeve in near mint condition.

This is a primo first US pressing of Zeppelin's classic IV "Zoso" LP. You will be hard pressed to find a finer copy that is not sealed. Hoping this one goes to a good home.
