Description
Very rare first press of Led Zeppelin 1969 LP with Turquiose lettering as well as the Superhype mis-credit and track listing error on Side One. Uncorrected matrix.
The record plays absolutely fine all the way through on both sides with no skipping. There's some crackling and popping but is only prominent in silent or more quiet moments or at lead-in. When band is in full swing you can't hear it. This is in very listenable condition despite the visual scratches.
Visually there are some scuffs as well as many fine scratches on the vinyl surface - this is very noticable under harsh light but in normal light looks pretty clean and with vinyl sheen. It plays much better than it looks.
The lables on the record are clean with no writing or stickers on them and the vinyl has no signs of warping.
The inner sleeve is original and intact with the original plastic lining but as you can see in the pictures there's some colouring through ageing of the paper. The outer sleeve has it's lacquer intact bar some lifting/creasing in small lines. There are signs of multiple creasing lines visible around the edges as can be seen in the pictures.
Will be couriered for next working day in purpose-made protective packaging.
