this Lp is variant 2 of the official 1st pressing that has matrix numbers ending 1/5/1/1 but its the 2nd issue or 2nd variant and does NOT have the Warner Bros logo on the rim!!

This is a very early UK 1st pressing and I will provide you with the exact dead wax matrix information here.

Side 2 - SSK-89400-B5


Side 3 - SSK-89400-C1


Side 4 - SSK-89400-D1


A few details that you WILL find on this copy I have for sale that is only applicable to the early 1st pressings and the initial variants.


(1) The original die-cut windows cover has "SWANSONG/484 KINGS ROAD,LONDON SW10" address at the top of the rear cover.


(2)  The set contains two custom inners with code "SSK 89400/A" for disc 1 and "SSK89400/B" for disc 2 on the bottom right back corner plus a two page folded insert that has the song titles, credits, and text "Sleeve printed and made in England by Gothic Print Finishers Ltd, London SE9 2EQ.


(3) Original cover and inners are smooth finish on the outside and textured on the inside.

However the insert had 3 different types and this is type (2) which is the most RARE out the 3 types It has the white satin finish front and back back with ONE fold at the bottom. The ONE fold make the inners and records fit better within the outer sleeve WOW!!!


The condition of the various items that make up this fabulous sounding set are described as follows


Made (24/feb/ 1975) original Outer die-cut "windows" sleeve EX Nice thick card with a lovely shine! some very minor edge wear, spine is straight no crushing fully legible wording, no unwanted graffiti or writing, minor feathering to top opener. EX


Inner White ONE fold container sleeve  no issues at all very slight age yellowing to top EX+


Individual Inner record sleeves (both)  nice condition EX-


Both VINYLS  are in Near Mint condition with some very slight surface marks when held against bright light, each vinyl disc has a deep lovely black sheen and sounds fantastic on both discs on all 4 sides punchy sound with no jumps sticks or clicks !!! Both vinyls lay flat on my turntable ( DUAL), The sound is very punchy and dynamic.

No spindle wear and played what looks to be a handful of times looking at the minor spider trails to spindle hole.

Absolutely banging condition on both vinyl EX+ for both.


Obviously this lp is not a filler as the price reflects the condition and rarity of this pressing!!

So here I have on offer a very scarce to find in any condition 1st pressing 1975 with custom inners and 2 page single fold card insert rarest of the 3 inserts! All in EX+ condition WOW!!
