Description

Here’s a Led Zeppelin LP that you rarely run across.

 

In this auction:

 

·       “LED ZEPPELIN” by Led Zeppelin

·       This is Atlantic Records SD 8216

·       It was released in 1969 and is a STEREO LP.

·       This record has PURPLE & BROWN ATLANTIC RECORDS LABELS that Goldmine states is a “possible mispress with purple and brown labels”. I understand that it IS, in fact, a mispressing with the wrong color labels used.

·       The COVER is in WEAK VG+ CONDITION. It has light to moderate overall wear, some wear on the bottom right corner and a small corner push on that corner. Edges/seams are all strong and intact.

·       The VINYL is in GOOD to VERY GOOD MINUS CONDITION. The labels are nice with some moderate wear but still nice color and NO writing and NO tears. The vinyl has a good amount of wear with numerous scuffs and hairlines and some scratches.

·       For me, this copy was a filler in my collection until a VG+ or better copy came along, but one never did at a price I could deal with.

·       It’s definitely a tough LP to find in ANY condition!

·       When will another opportunity come along to acquire this RARE LED ZEPPELIN MISPRESS even in this lower grade condition?
