Description

One of the original and rare first pressings of Led Zeppelin's debut album (apparently one of only 2000 copies made) that were briefly released in the UK in March 1969, before they were swiftly deleted and the album was re-issued with orange lettering (and altered matrix numbers).
This is the version that collectors go nuts for....
Turquoise lettering on the sleeve. Red and plum labels. Uncorrected matrix numbers - 588171 A/1 and 588171 B/1 (nothing crossed out) Side 1 credits are: Tracks 1,2,4 Superhype Music and track 3 Jewell Music. Side 2 credits are: Tracks 1,2,3 and 5 Superhype Music and track 4 Jewell Music.
Sleeve condition  - the glossy coating is lifting slightly in places and the cover has some creases and age related marks - as to be expected for a 50 year old!  The edges look like they were reinforced with Selloptape at some point (not by me, and obviously a long time ago as I have owned this for at least 35 years!). The spine is readable and not too crushed.
The labels are very clean with no graffiti and very few markings. 
Its been in storage for years. The vinyl itself appears to be flat but does have a few scuffs and scratches. It has not been professionally cleaned. This is my own much- loved, well- played copy that I bought (2nd hand) as a teenager. There is a fair amount of crackles, especially audible on the quiet bits, and the odd pop or click but overall it plays fine with no skipping or jumps.
NOT a mint example by any means, but nevertheless collectable classic with a bargain starting price and no reserve. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will try to answer them as quickly as possible.
