Description
8 Great Blues LPs on Sonet Records from England. Included are: Introductory sampler w/Bukka White, Lightnin' Hopkins, JD Short, Robert Pete Williams, etc; Champion Jack Dupree, Mighty Joe Young,Memphis Slim, JD Short, RP Williams, Eddie Boyd, and Sunnyland Slim. The music was recorded in the 1960s and 1970s with an array of all-star accompanying musicians. Besides the sampler, volumes here are #3,4, 7-11. Condition of most discs is Mint with a couple at VG+. All covers have some buckling at the bottoms due to water, but the discs are fine. These LPs were running at $15+ when they came out in the 1970s, so $120 total. Even though covers are not perfect, this is a good price for some great music!
