LEGIAO URBANA - AS QUATRO ESTACOES LP - FIRST PRESSING - EMI VG/VG.
Condition is used. I am selling a few selected LP's from my personal collection.
The fourth album by this amazing rock band, in which Renato Russo, always thoughtful, status-quo questioning and counter-culture leaning, prioves an amazing collection of introspective, moving music, culminating with the masterpiece "Pais e Filhos" ("Parents and children"), which may be the the greatest song every written, certainly when it comes to a song about broken family relationships, confusion and despair that is somehow uplifting and inspiring. A sample of the lyrics is as follows: "É preciso amar/as pessoas como se não houvesse amanhã/Porque se você parar/pra pensar/Na verdade não há" ("We must love people as if there was no tomorrow/Because when you stop to think about it/There really isn't"). I am conservatively rating the LP and cover as VG. The vinyl has great sound, another stellar pressing by EMI; however, there are some scattered hairlines which are not significant and in the background. It is difficult to find a nicer copy in Brazil or anywhere else. No writing on embossed cover or LP - also difficult to find. No seam splits but there is wear on the bindings. There is a small musical sticker on the bottom right of the corner. Comes with lyrics sheet / poster.
