Argentina was no stranger to the convulsed year of 1968 and, among other events of political and cultural relevance of the revolutionary waves, one of the best-selling albums in all of Argentine history was released: Fuiste mia un verano, by Leonardo Favio, which in six months had been commercially purchased more than a million times, a record for then and that so many artists would envy today. It felt like there was something different. Leonardo was a true rebel, he wore jeans and sneakers on the covers of magazines and on television and at the same time had great sensitivity. I sensed that it was going to be a phenomenon and it turned out to be the author of the biggest record boom in history and nobody repeated it.
