Vinyl lp 12" MUSIC OUT OF THE MOON/ MUSIC FOR PEACE OF MIND. Chorale and orchestra conducted by Les Baxter, Accompanied by Dr. Samuel Hoffman on the theremin. Baxter arranged the original musical themes composed by Harry Revel. This compilation of two albums was reissued 1952 on Capitol (W 390), mono.
I can't find alot of info about this release. The two titles were originally released on different formats. They were first compiled onto a 12" long-player in 1952. Most catalog numbers for this 12" lp release occur as Capitol T390. An internet search revealed only one reference to the above mystery catalog number (W390), which apparently occurred a year before Capitol T390 was released. The label variant is a strange one, too. I've never seen it before. Capitol long-players--circa 1952 to approximately 1957--carried a turqoise label with silver lettering. There does not appear to be many releases with the label variant evidenced here; at least, not many that a Google Image search can identify.
