Description
For sale is Les Paul and Mary Ford's Lovers' Luau, originally released in 1959 by Columbia Records in the US. This is the original US first stereo pressing with the six CBS "Eyes" around the edge of the label. These records are sought out for their excellent sound quality. I bought this new, played it once and immediately put the record in a new inner sleeve. I always put my new records directly into a protective inner sleeve(s), thus preserving the integrity of the insert(s) and the original inner sleeve(s). There is no original inner sleeve or insert. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint Minus because of very faint sleeve marks. The cover is Excellent except for a split in the seam on the top of the cover by the opening. The spine is Near Mint. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I bought it and still has a lot of life yet. You will probably have a hard time finding this album in any condition. It's that super rare! This would make a great addition to a anyone's collection. I am listing other albums in my Ebay store that you might be interested in. Please take a look. I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
