Lightnin' Hopkins - King of the Blues USA Original Issue Mono Silver Label Pickwick LP from 1965
Fantastic copy of this great Lightnin' Hopkins LP, strangely released by Pickwick Records. It was later released on the Blue Horizon label under the title of Let's Work Awhile.
The solid USA styled cover is in lovely condition with very little evidence of handling, easily graded Near Mint.
The heavy solid vinyl is graded Near Mint and is a beautiful example, this is also the much rarer Mono version of this recording and is clean and crisp.
Plain inner sleeve, has signs of ageing but is intact.
This is a great Hopkins album, although many people would prefer the Blue Horizon release, this is the original and is a heavy quality pressing
