ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This beautiful LP – a superb collector's copy – from Erato (STE 50132, French pressing, white/pink label – ED1, stereo, deluxe inner sleeve included, laminated flipback jacket) entitled "Recital de Harpe · Lily Laskine features the grande dame of French harpists in a magical recital recorded in 1962. This album won the 1963 Académie Charles Cross Grand Prix International du Disque and Erato pulled out all the stops for this release: this is really a gorgeous production from every standpoint – it looks, and has the feel, of a lavish issue.

Incidentally, the lovely cover photo was taken by Sousse Ohana. There are superlative liner notes on the reverse side of the jacket by Maurice Imbert, printed in French only.
CONDITION:
The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.
The condition of the jacket is EXCELLENT. For a 50-year-old jacket, this really rates more like NM, but to be on the conservative side I will say EX. There is minor bumping/wear at corners, but really that is all. There are no owners' markings, bends, seamsplits, or other defects, and the whole remains solid, bright, glossy, and extremely attractive – overall, this rates as a very fine collector's copy.
The condition of the deluxe inner Erato sleeve is near-MINT.
The condition of the LP itself is EXCELLENT. While there are a few slightly noisy passages, in general the playback is quite fine. However, those requiring a flawless or near-MINT copy are kindly advised to look elsewhere. Overall, this rates as an excellent collector's copy.
