Description
I recently bought a collection of great 45 rpm records from the estate of an elderly black lady. Most of the collection was 1950's -60's doowop R&B, blues, or sweet soul music. There are some very rare titles on great labels in the group and I will be listing them on ebay with low starting bids and no reserve. Please check my auctions frequently for new listings. I will be attaching clickable links to sound clips for most records so that there is no question as to condition. I will say that I think digitizing the the vinyl to MP3 files enhances the surface noise. The records will sound better when played on your stereo. You will here more music and less surface noise. I will guarantee that each record sold is the original and not a bootleg or counterfeit copy. This is Federal 12036 Little Esther And The Dominoes "Heart To Heart" with flip side "Lookin' For A Man" released in 1951. My 1997 Osborne guide places a NM value of $400 on this record. On Oct-20-04 at 13:02:01 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been informed that early Federal labels have gold tops and later ones have silver. This is a gold top label. The light in which the photo was taken may make it appear silver but it is gold. All the early Federal 45's that I have listed are gold top. On Oct-20-04 at 13:18:12 PDT, seller added the following information: I think it is worth mentioning again that this record sounds much much better on the stereo than it does on the mp3 soundbite. These are my first attempts at soundbiting and I really don't think I've got it quite together yet. It is a pretty tricky procedure.
