Description

Earliest flat disc/"pancake" pressing with the groove all the way out to 3mm from the edge of the label. It only existed briefly in 1958 and maybe early 1959. The so-called "ED1" was actually the later pressing and I challenge you to find a Decca SXL with this configuration, as they only issued the stereo version in 1960, where London CS first came out in 1958! I may have a better cover somewhere. If I found it, I will update the listing!

Cover condition: EX- (moisture soil near opening), blueback

Stampers: 1E/1E ffss label UK Decca pressing
