Description
This is a lovely recording of Bach's Orchestral Suites. Catalog # CSA-2206 is a early London blueback pressing of "The Four Suites". They are aptly recorded by Karl Munchinger, conducting The Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra. The musicians playing are as follows; Fritz Fischer, and Hans-Peter Weber-oboe's, Herbert Anton-bassoon, Germaine Vaucher Clerc-harpsichord, Jean Pierre Rampel-flute. On suite's # 3&4 we have Adolf Scherbaum, Konrad Reinecke, and Ernst Mohlheinrich-trumpets, Fritz Fischer, Hans-Peter Weber, Gustav Steinert-oboe's, Karl Schad-timpani, Germaine Clerc-harpsichord,and Herbert Anton-bassoon. Wonderful recording on 2 Lp's. The label is the deep groove, wide band red and silver, FFSS. The vinyl is Mint on all four sides. The blueback box and inside sleeve are Mint-.
