‘Blues Walk’ helped to kick-start the soul-jazz movement of the 60s and remains the go-to album in saxophonist Lou Donaldson’s canon.
On July 28, 1958, a 31-year-old alto saxophonist called Lou Donaldson went into Van Gelder Studio, in New Jersey, to record Blues Walk, a six-track LP released by Blue Note Records that many now regard as his greatest album and definitive musical statement. LP housed in picture sleeve with obi and Blue Note generic inner in near mint condition with vinyl showing a couple of faint lines which do not affect play.

The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.
GOOD (G)
The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discolouration.
CONDITION: This item is in excellent or mint condition unless stated above.
