Description

An original 1st press of LOU REED on UK RCA. Matrix 1E/1E - 1st cut. 1st pressings should be solid pressings and shiny orange labels with 'Stereo' at 12 o'clock. The vinyl comes housed in a front laminated cover. We have the original RCA generic white inner too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super shape and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. Beautiful lustre. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of slight deviations. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Some quality audio on offer here - love it. Hardly any background at all. All I could detect was a couple of crackles in a couple of spots on the intro to 'Love You'. But overall - really really impressive. You won't be going any better. Top quality lush rich detailed audio - consistently.
Cover (Ex-) A very smart shiny front without light fade and barely a singe thumbnails. The rear is pretty clean with just a crease at the opening and slight handling wear in top sector. Hardly any edge wear and sharp openings. Spine is 100% intact with lightest touch of ageing. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
