Description

For your consideration, the album "Transformer" by Lou Reed. Has a "Not for Sale" promo-only stamp on the jacket, which is kind of strange as the record itself doesn't look like a promo and the shrink wrap has a store price sticker on it. Possibly it was earmarked at the factor as a promo and later found it's way to a store instead. This record is in incredible condition for it's age, both jacket and vinyl. I'm a conservative grader but I have no problem saying this is VG+, although some might say better. Whomever owned this record took very good care of their records (I got this together with other records of the same vintage and they were in equally good condition). Vinyl is nice and clean with only a couple small visual marks that do not effect playing (I played it end-to-end). Original inner sleeve (promo stamp hit through) also in good condition. According to Discogs, this was probably made at the Rockaway plant and is a first pressing.
