Description

Louis Armstrong and his Hot Five play "Gut Bucket Blues" and "Yes!  I'm in the Barrel" on Okeh 8261.  Louis's first record as a leader.
Louis Armstrong (cnt); Kid Ory (tb); Johnny Dodds (cl); Lil Armstrong (p); Johnny St. Cyr (bj).  Recorded in Chicago on November 12, 1925.
This record is in V condition.  The music is loud and mostly clear, with some steeling in places that causes distortion in some of the loudest passages, more on the "Gut Bucket" side than the "Barrel" side.  Despite these flaws, it's an enjoyable listen.
I'm a longtime collector who is downsizing.  I know how to pack records.
