Description
Good shine, shows groove wear both sides Mahogany Hall Stomp side suffers worse for it, plays about V to V+. It's bright but with some distorting at times, and gets noisier at the end. Still, a listenable side with expected noise. Beau Koo Jack, the better side to me, doesn't suffer nearly as much, plays a solid V+ to V++. There's just a TOUCH more background than you'd expect in a nice shiny laminated Okeh Louis record, but still it plays brightly, nice presence, and a well structured, vibrant, well recorded, well performed side from 1927.

An average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced V. Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive. V-. Quite playable still, but distortion and heavy greying in loud passages.Music remains loud in most passages.Surface noise and scratches well below music level. G+.
