Tracks: "West End Blues/Fireworks"

Year: 1928

Up for auction is what is considered to be one of the masterpieces of Jazz. Louis Armstrong's rendition of West End Blues is a classic known by almost every serious jazz enthusiast. Accompanied by Earl Hines, Zutty Singleton, etc, this is a quintessential part of any jazz collection.

Condition: "West End Blues" is a V to V+. A-8 stamper. Plays well. "Fireworks" looks VV+, but it was pressed with the A-1 stamper, so it plays a strong and clear V+. I have never played any of my records with an equalizer, but I would imagine that they would play noticeably better if I did. Great and classic sides!
