We had a good life together as we grew up. There were eleven of us children. Our father has deceased this life but our mother is still with us and on this record singing "I'm Gonna Walk The Streets In Glory". Our father was a minister of the gospel and all of us have been saved. Our father and mother were both good singers and we all used to sing at home. We have tried to use our talents for the honor of God. On this album, you will be hearing the Tomes brothers, Sherman, Marion, William and Sammy, and the Tomes sisters, Goldie, Jewel, Pearl and Ruby, and the Tomes family, with Mom, Carl and Junior, and the Sherman Tomes Trio, and the Tomes Four. The Sherman Tomes Trio has a new album out and the Tomes Four has six albums, with tapes on all these. We are proud of our family and we want to say, "We the Tomes Family thank Jackie Crenshaw for his kindness toward our family. May God bless you and yours." Rev. Harlan E.
