Description

An original 1967 Mono 1st press of FC on the UK Elektra label. Matrix A1/B1. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Mono cover with pinched spine. Also included is the original generic white inner from the time. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Vg+/Ex-) In very nice condition despite having seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection we could make out a few light marks per side, with one or two tiny ones which are semi-feelable - but do not appear to cause significant issue. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveal a mostly NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. By and large a decent relatively clean player with some great audio. Expect a bit of static in the tracks 'Red Telephone' & 'Old Man' - nothing invasive they just don't play quite as clean as the rest of the LP. The only deviations are a couple of minor ticks in a couple of isolated spots in 'Maybe The people..'. And then just a couple of momentary 1 second bursts of interference in 'You Set The Scene'. A great rendition of this 'summer of love' classic.
Cover (Ex-) Difficult to find in top-level condition due to that white cover. But this example acquits itself admirably and seems to have avoided most of the ageing process. There's two minor creases on the front and two minor ones on the back. Edge wear is relatively minor and the openings still sharpish. The spine is mostly intact. The text is still legible and there's only a couple of stress creases visible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. Bottom edge is split and has been taped. There's one 1 inch side split.
