Love, Out Here, Orig UK Harvest Stereo Gfld Dble LP, EX/EX, A-1 B-2, 1st Press.

Description

Original UK Harvest stereo label 1st press.
The fifth Love album was recorded during September 1968 to October 1969 by the second version of Love after Arthur Lee had sacked all the rest of the original band in 1968 and signed to Blue Thumb. Three albums worth of material were recorded over the next year in a makeshift studio in a Los Angeles warehouse and at Sunset Sound Recorders, Hollywood. In August 1969 Elektra Records were given the rights to the first choice of tracks to fulfill Lee's contractual obligation to them releasing 'Four Sail', and the remainder was later released as 'Out Here' in June 1970 by Blue Thumb/Harvest.

This is the original issue with the Harvest labels without the EMI box and with the 'Gramophone Co Ltd' rim text and with the earliest A-1 B-2 A-1 B-2 matrices of the first press.
The E. J. Day Group Ltd front laminated sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light edge/corner wear and some light laminate storage rubbing/creasing on the outer cover, with some light rubbing on the inner cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inners are intact & in EX condition.   The records are in visually EX condition, with a few faint sleeve removal hairlines and a couple of light needle scuffs/marks visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of faint spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves.
Overall, a really great, loud & clear listen.   The matrix nos. are; SHDW-3, A-1 stamper 1-GA and B-2 stamper 1-GR & SHDW-4, A-1 stamper 1-L, B-2 stamper 1-L. This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1970 UK stereo issue of this album!
