Description

Lumpy Gravy – Frank Zappa, vinyl 1968 Verve SIGNED Very Good Condition

This is Frank Zappa’s first solo release apart from the Mothers of Invention and was released at the same time as We’re Only In It For The Money. It’s a landmark in many ways and showscases Frank’s early composition and production skills, combining orchestration with bizarre spoken word segments. Frank does not play any instruments here. This copy’s cover is in very good shape but it does have some edges broken out. Also there is an alphabetical sticker and an owner’s mark. Frank signed the inside in grease pencil when I interviewed him on my radio show in 1976. The vinyl is in great condition especially considering it’s almost 55 years old.
