This hasn't been off the shelf in 40 years....and it still sounds refreshing. The vinyl is super-clean, virtually void of surface noise, and the pressing sounds very good. The cover is still vibrant and sharp, showing a little age more than wear. The spine is still solid and perfectly legible for filing.
The cover manufacture is similar to ABC of that period, so handle with care to preserve it. I've done a full scan and scope of this, and I am very pleased to offer it.
RECORDS SHOULD SOUND GOOD. NOT JUST LOOK GOOD.
If you don't believe that, I've got some beautiful-looking vintage Miles Davis' to sell you
that sounds like .......bad!......probably because they have been played on a primitive stereo.
Usually on eBay, these would be graded "near mint" and sold to you for $50.
However, new and newer-condition records are never perfect and always contain some
spurious noises by way of the molding process; this is true of ALL record manufacturers regardless of brand or price.
It's certainly a bad idea to buy an LP if you are disturbed by this nature of vinyl and should be buying CD versions.
These LP's are from my private life-long library. Typically no scratches, no dirt, no fingerprints,
no chemicals; just naturally very clean.They are graded by sound (my priority) as well as looks:
0 to 100; (100 being the best-sounding example of this pressing that 'might' exist).
YES, I have been a fanatic about taking care of my records, and I use an oscilloscope to
check the quality of LPs. for sale. This finds and identify noises inherent to pressings
or different ones caused by handling. Importantly, I can tell you about the sound characteristics
of each record for sale here, rather than saying "it looks good"...so send any questions.
NO-DRAMA RETURNS...I keep photos and scope results, so just return them UN-DAMAGED.
