Description
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Rare...
39 year old FIRST PRINT and one of the very FIRST overviews of GARAGE 1965-1966 TIME-TUNNEL BLASTS!
The cover illustration of '77-type punk visuals leeds most collectors to mistakenly assume this was a modern punk compilation. Actually, it was one of the first '60s garage music anthologies, and remains one of the better ones, despite the lack of liner notes. None of the artists are well known, even by collectors, with the marginal exception of The Mystic Tide and Canada's Ugly Ducklings. But Mile Ends' "Bottle Up and Go," and Dean Carter's "Rebel Woman," and especially Keith Kessler's stunning "Don't Crowd Me" are some of the most vicious, compelling '60s garage tunes ever to come storming down the pike. It's worth searching for if you're a garage-head.
The champions protecting Ear-Piercings honor are:
The Groupies - the kings of slop - makes an übercool version of Hog. It is seedy, it reeks intoxication and it is famished for disgusting, vile and wild sex.Dean Carter made his first appearance here with a double-whupass: Rebel Woman and Jailhouse Rock! Two of the wildest sixties punkers there ever was!
Starting side two is Sparkles classic No Friend Of Mine (another ten-pointer) followed by Keith Kessler (9.5 pointer but still a stone cold classic) - boom! boom!
Elsewhere "Herde" deliver absolute one of the best anti-prejudice protest songs, "Mister You're a Better Man than I" (First verse: "Can you judge a man, / by the way he wears his hair? / Can you read his mind, / by the clothes that he wears? / Can you see a bad man, / by the pattern on his tie? / Well then, mister, you're a better man than I . . .") the song was written by MANFRED MANN though the better known version is by the YARDBIRDS, so that is high praise indeed. Then watch out when one of the absolute top punkers there are follows it:::
We are, of course, talking about Mystic Tide and there haunting Runnin Thru The Night. If you can't dig that then you can't dig nuthin' !!!
Ugly Ducklings and Third Booth makes sure the album finish on a wild note!!!
