We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

Long gone and rare...20+ years old limited UK issue features the master tapes to the 1971 heavy prog beast ZIOR and includes 5 NON LP unreleased tracks from their 1972 sessions that were never issued....
Highly collectable, the first of two Lp's by ZIOR... an exceptional underground Hard Rock/progressive outfit. Vocalist Keith Bonser is ex-ESSEX FIVE and CARDBOARD ORCHESTRA. Peter Brewer had been a member of THE NIGHTRIDERS. Bassist Barry Skeels had once been a member of the delightfully named BUMS.
ZIOR's debur 1971 album, issued on the Nepentha label, drew similarities to higher profile Heavy Psych bands of the day, not just due to the heaviness of the music but also the album cover, designed by the same studio that had shot the fist BLACK SABBATH album...
This 1971 first album is a knockout of fantastic heavy prog/psych-rock and is still one of the more popular sought after/collected albums from the early UK 70's -- the Nepentha label pressing sells for fighting auction dollars at more than most can afford to spend $400+. Zior did have a reputation as a wild live band. They were heavily into Black Magic and Satanic Masses etc. which adds to the mysticism and legacy of this band, altough Zior have never managed to rise above cult status. They ALSO recorded an album on the Beacon label, later in 1971, which was credited to Monument, though in fact it featured all four members of Zior !
One of only five albums released on highty collectable Philips offshoot label Nepentha, "Zior" is a great Hard Rock album with various twists and turns. Standout track is "Oh Mariya", with its ritualistic intro, groovy beat, Heavy riffing and sinister-sounding vocals. Other notable tracks on the record are the catchy "Love's Desire", the Heavy, pre-glam groove of opener "I Really Do", and the strident Blues Rock of "Now I'm Sad".
Kind of a missing link between Black Sabbath and Black Widow, Zior are a genuinely underrated band.
