Description: This is the original MONO 1st press of this gem on New Jazz. The cover is textured with the BERGENFIELD, NJ address on the lower back. The labels are the purple NEW JAZZ labels with the deep grooves (DG) and the BERGENFIELD, NJ address on the bottom. The run out area of the wax has the "NJLP-8269-A" and "NJLP-8269-B" etched on its respective side, while "VAN GELDER" is stamped on both sides. There are multiple marks on the vinyl, including one that can be felt with a finger nail, but the marks do not overwhelm the vinyl. The vinyl is still glossy and retains its original sheen. The cover is rigid. It is not falling apart. There are some fine creases coming from the spine on the front along with small spots of slight soiling that become apparent on careful inspection. On the back, there is a name written in ink along with a price tag and stamp. The vinyl plays through fine with some pops an ticks and some slight background noise in places. The cover displays very well despite its shortcomings!
