JIM CLARK WAS DRIVING RECKLESSLY / ART DIRECTOR / MOTIVE / TAKE ONE ... 7-inch, 33rpm EP single by LES MALEDICTUS SOUND & THE GOLDEN POT. Original Brazilian pressing on the FERMATA label (EPE 622), from 1970. Desirable, Brazilian-only EP and J.P. Massiera grail. Basically, a collaboration with Disc AZ in France to issue the fabulous Golden Pot single as one side and amazingly, Les Maledictus Sound themes on the other ;) Re-packaged as "Dancing Sounds" with striking artwork sleeve (slightly different to the Golden Pot French single). Features the insane, psychedelic funk of JIM CLARK WAS DRIVING RECKLESSLY (taken from Massiera's legendary Studio S.E.M. session). Delirious and unusual with crazed B-boy drums / overdubs / bizarre voices / fuzz distortions / tape manipulation and double time signatures. Fuzz leads by Massiera with the hottest French session players, including funky drummer Andre Ceccarelli and Le Baron Bernard Estardy on organ. Great for DJs. This EP also includes Massiera's bizarre ART DIRECTOR funky pop theme too. We have recorded all 4 themes for our soundclip, opening with JIM CLARK then the Icaro 2000 cum Joe 90 space age mod jerk of TAKE ONE etc. The Golden Pot are rumoured to be a UK studio group who originally recorded their 2 themes for the French radio programme, Campus. Seldom comes up for sale now and our copy is nice for an item that is usually always trashed. Rare EP!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG+ condition with hairlines and light scuffs. Light surface noises. Booming production sound. A few soft pops / ticks (as you can hear on the soundclip). The card picture sleeve is in strong VG+ condition with general wear. Ring wear / ring dirt marks / corner and edge wear. Mini archive number in pen and small sticker to front sleeve. Dirt marks and natural age discoloration to sleeve too. Rare EP!!!
