UN SOIR CHEZ NORRIS / CHASSE A L'HOMME ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST TV single by PIERRE CAVALLI. Original French pressing on DISQUES CARABINE label (66.414), from 1971. Killer French soundtrack double-sider, led by the cult Swiss guitarist, Pierre Cavalli with crack studio session players. Psychedelic mood music from the obscure Swiss - French television broadcast, Un Soir Chez Norris. Our soundclip opens with the insane CHASSE A L'HOMME theme followed by the druggier UN SOIR CHEZ NORRIS side. Both themes feature funky fuzz distortions / B-boy drums and spooky, Mary Mayo style scat vocals. Great for DJs with booming production sound. Imagine a delirious sounding Portishead or Broadcast with spiralling rhythms / beats and breaks. The UN SOIR CHEZ NORRIS theme was the opening track on Evasion - A Journey Into Swiss Psych & B-Music comp by Holywax Records ;) and was also included on the Cross Continental Record Raid Road Trip selection by Andy Votel - Finders Keepers and Make Do And Mend Volume O6 selection by Glasgow's Belle And Sebastian. The CHASSE A L'HOMME theme was also comped by Holywax and also appears on A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Exploding In Your Mind Vol 3. Just choose your side... both themes are outstanding examples of the early '70s euro soundtrack / exploitation genre. Strange yet cool picture sleeve artwork capturing a scene from this obscure TV programme. Super-hard to find in nice condition, like this copy. Rare OST 45!!!

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition overall with some hairlines / light scuffs. Some light surface noises. Booming production sound. The stiff card picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition overall with light wear and and some ring creasing / ring wear from storage. Signature in pen to back sleeve (see photo). Some wear down the right hand, open side and corners. Rare OST 45!!!
