These are 4 original '45 MANHATTAN TOWER single sided 78 rpm stampers, they can be played on a standard record player as long as it can handle the weight. Each one is a 12" single sided, one is copper, the other 3 a very bright shiny mirror like silver. All have extremely nice sound quality with brilliant highs, and excellent dynamic range. I found out through research and listening that these 4 stampers are for the sound track called MANHATTAN TOWER by GORDON JENKINS. The numbers stamped in trail off are WLX-4037, WLX-4038, WX7-4325, & 4326. I was able to listen to excerpts from each one, all are very heavy, but one of the silver stampers is thinner, flexible and much lighter.all played with exceptional sound quality. I heard narration, beautiful music, sounds of traffic in New York, People laughing, talking, etc. All 4 are in wonderful condition, with only minor fingerprints and only a few light surface scratches that do not affect play. I've owned other stampers in the past, but never those that played clockwise like these. I bought them years ago with other 10" stampers all from Decca. the person I bought them from was the wife of a former Decca company employee. The others were country western, Bing Crosby, etc. These are the only 12" stampers I bought from her. The Original U.S. Consumer Decca 12" Manhattan Tower set was on two 12" records 78 rpm in binder or box.
