Description
This is a rare first SELF RELEASE single by THE MARINE GIRLS (TRACEY THORN first band) . AN ORIGINAL, AND A MUST !!!.
This is THE MARINE GIRLS first PRIVATELY PRESSED single, the band only pressed a VERY SMALL amount of this single, and shortly after got signed by a bigger Indie label, the single hardly sold any copies, and as a result this is a must for any collector of INDIE POP / TWEE / C86 / MARINE GIRLS / TRACEY THORN stuff.
The single also comes with the original HAND MADE PICTURE SLEEVE, AND the rare INSERT !!!
This single came out in 1982 on the private IN PHAZE RECORDS, catalogue number COD 2 , a rare find and an ORIGINAL pressing !!!
The songs are: ON MY MIND / THE LURE OF THE ROCKPOOLS.
The condition of the VINYL is EX+ (Unplayed but has minor paper sleeve scuffs). HAND MADE P/S in VG++ condition (glue is showing as per most copies, and a small opening on the bottom), and INSERT in EX+++ condition.
You will not find another or better copy of this killer INDIE POP / TWEE / C86 single very soon, only a few hundred copies were ever made of this private press single.
