Original Italian promo pressing on the CAM SAG label (9020), from 1969. Outstanding, psychedelic lounge soundtrack from the maestro. Easily the best Molino recording money can buy. An obscure film score to the hippie counter-culture / underground movie directed by Honil Ranieri starring Franco Citti / Evi Marandi / Eleonora Rossi Drago and Ivano Davoli. The film's sex / drugs / erotica and occult subject matter, is beautifully crafted by Molino into amazing themes of fuzz funk with pop electronique / sexy vocal lounge / cool bossa and mod jazz with flute / cinematic LSD trips and atmospheric orchestrations. Every track is superb. Our soundclip opens with the psychedelic party tune JERK BEAT the aggressive big brother to GLI ANGELI 2000 (Molino's groovy take on Pierre Henry's - Psyché Rock anthem) followed by WOMAN (the coro Nora Orlandi version) / the elegant Brazilian jazz of BOSSA JAGUAR / the frantic latin bongo delirium and montuno basslines of ALL SEE SAW / the orchestral freakbeat of SHAKE PSYCHO and other brilliant themes like LE MANI which features Italian Library vibes player, Franco Goldani, in a beautiful modern jazz setting with counterpoint harmony singers. Great for DJs. Record housed in a stiff card plain sleeve, as this pressing was originally intended for RAI radio / promotional use only. Very rare OST Lp!!!
