MARK CHARIG, FRED VAN HOVE, PHIL WACHSMANN & GUNTER "BABY" SOMMER: WAS MACHT IHR DENN? FMP LP. Mint condition, though jacket shows a bit of wear. One-time quartet recorded in 1982 for FMP. A fabulous set, 2 pieces each one side long. Mark Charig is the Brit trumpeter who also appeared on numerous recordings by King Crimson, Soft Machine and other "prog rockers." Van Hove the original pianist with the Peter Broetzmann trio, Wachsmann and Sommer are also well known to followers of the improvised music scene. A quite rare item, not (to my knowledge) ever reissued on CD and pressed in very limited quantities. Buyer pays all actual shipping plus insurance, method of shipping buyer's choice.
