ITEM DESCRIPTION:-
Original British 'Demonstration Copy', 7", vinyl, 45 RPM single in original sleeve.

Martha Reeves and The Vandellas.
I Promise To Wait My Love / Forget Me Not. 1968. Tamla Motown- TMG 657.
Green and white Motown label. The release date (24.5.68) is printed on both sides, together with the text 'Demonstration Record Not For Sale. There is a large white letter 'A' on side one. The date, 12 MAY 1968 is stamped twice on side one.
This single is not easy to find as a normal issue copy. I would say that a 'demo' copy in this condition, would be a very nice, and rare item to have in your Motown / Soul collection.
CONDITION OF ITEM:- (based on Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide 2008:-
Vinyl Grading = (EX+). This single appears to be totally unplayed. I have graded this single as EX+, rather than NM, as there is a very minor mark at 12 O'clock on side two, this can only be seen when the record is examined under a strong light source.
You will not need to upgrade this lovely copy.

GRADING SYSTEM:-
MINT= Item still sealed in original packaging.
NEAR MINT (NM)= The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX)= The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packing might have very slight wear / or creasing. No items below this grading will be offered for sale at the present time.
VERY GOOD (VG)= The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G)= The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
+ or - = Items fall between grades.

U.K. Items with a selling price below £34 will be sent by 1st Class Recorded Delivery. Price= £2.99p. The item must be signed for on receipt. This service includes tracking during transit and insurance against loss/damage for up to £34.
U.K. Items with a selling price above £34 will be sent by Special Delivery Next Day. Price= £5.00p. The item must be signed for on receipt. This service includes tracking during transit and insurance against loss/damage for up to £500.
Europe. items will be sent via Airsure/International Signed For. Price= £7.28p. Postage to the rest of the world via Airsure/International Signed For. Price= £12.00p.
The above services, include insurance during transit. The item must be signed for on receipt. When the Airsure service is used, I will email you a tracking number for your item. The International Signed for service does not include this tracking option.
When buying more than one item, I will combine your postage costs, so please email me for this.
All items purchased will be carefully and securely packaged, before dispatch. Items will be posted within two (working) days of your Paypal payment being received, or your cheque payment being cleared.
Payment Information:-
U.K. = Paypal, Postal Orders, Personal Cheques (the item cannot be dispatched until the cheque has cleared by my Bank). I prefer payment by Paypal, and will not charge extra for this.
Europe/Worldwide = Paypal only.
Returns:-
If you are in anyway unhappy with the item that you purchase, based on my description, or grading. I will fully refund your payment, minus the initial postage cost, providing that the item is returned to me (securely) in the condition that it was sent, within seven days.
