Description
Beautiful pair of Marty Robbins Gunfighter LPs, both on beautiful first pressing 1950s Columbia 6-Eye labels, both mono and both in lovely condition:
1) Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs, the classic featuring El Paso, on Columbia mono CL-1349. The disc has only a few very light scuffs and superficial marks, but it plays near flawlessly and just beautifully. Strong VG+ to E. The cover has a touch of light wear with a few scuffs and very faint ringwear, and a little rubbing at the lower edge and lower right corner, but no further corner wear and no seam splits. Really a beautiful cover. So rare to find an original that looks so nice, and it sounds just amazing on such a nice first pressing mono copy.
2) More Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs, on Columbia mono CL 1481. The disc is about the same as above, with maybe a tiny bit
more surface scuffing, but still plays near flawlessly. The cover is beautiful, with only light ringwear and minor signs of light handling. Just beautiful.
These are both just beautiful playing original copies. Hard to get in such shape.
