Part of my personal collection from new, a feature of this album is the magnificent Marvel Comics-based sleeve, with the real Superheroes on the front and the Group depicted as Superheroes on the rear.

Now extremely rare, seldom on eBay and this one’s a beauty!!

GRADING

Vinyl – Looks absolutely superb under bright light and shines like new, lovely thick vinyl, with only the odd paper mark. The labels are immaculate, with minimal spindle marking. Please note that both labels are the same (darker) colour, photos taken in different conditions. There is barely any background crackle or noise between the tracks on this seldom played album. The prologue on side 1 is faultless and I counted only two faint clicks on the entire side. Side 2 also has just a couple of faint clicks and barely audible background noise in the quietest parts of track 3. I’ve played the whole LP and described it as fully as possible - it would be easy to grade higher, but without doubt this album must be at least – EX

Sleeve – Front has excellent lamination, no ring wear, perfect spine and sharp edges. Small lift in laminate on reverse, approx 1 x 5 cm. - EX

Inner – Replacement, card with polythene liner

An extremely rare LP in Superb Condition – Difficult to Better

GRADING OF VINYL RECORDS

It will inevitably be subjective, but I've tried to grade by the Record Collector standard. All records undergo an initial visual grading under a strong light. Any marks in the vinyl which may be significant result in partial or complete playing. Because I haven’t heard them for some time, certain records are played anyway. Comments on individual listening are appended to the grading.

EXCELLENT (EX) The record itself shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

I don’t have records outside these three categories. To bridge the gulf between VG and EX, I use VG+; VG/EX and EX-

Records will be wrapped in Clingfilm, with two sheets of polystyrene and a corrugated card outer.

Overseas Postage and Packing – by Airmail: - EU - £5.20; Rest of the World - £7.70, for compensation up to £32.

For Compensation up to £500, please add £5.00. I will not be responsible for any loss or damage in transit, where you have not paid for adequate compensation.

In the event that an item is lost or damaged in the Post, I will have a Certificate of Posting, which I can send to you to make a claim up to £32. Over this amount, special arrangements may be made.

I have done my best to grade this item accurately. Should you feel that the item is sufficiently at odds with my description, I will provide a full auction price refund upon return (within seven days of receipt) of the item, provided negative feedback is not given. There will be no renegotiation of the final auction price.
