Description
For sale is MEL TORME, "Sings Fred Astaire," on Bethlehem Records BCP 6013, Mono, DG, original 1957.
SOUND: EX It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Overall very clean, clear sound! Side A is outstanding. Some instances of light routine surface noise on side B. Still very minor. Overall a delightful playback!
VINYL: EX There are a couple routine, faint hairline marks. A little light handling. All completely superficial. Labels have a few spindle-marks. Overall, very nice condition.
JACKET: EX or better Solid all-around, with routine light wear at corners. Laminated front is beautiful. Back is clean and bright. Very minor aging or shelf-wear.

An original issue, 1957 record that plays terrific. Great condition, great value at $40.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. When play-tested, I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
