...mega-rare 7" PROMO single released 1972 on UK DERAM label !!
out of my extensive collection...: rare UK first press vinyl 7" PROMO single released 1972 on turqoise blue/white DERAM label with catalognumber DM 357. On the label it states "DEMONSTRATION SAMPLE - NOT FOR SALE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC" ... Cover and vinyl all in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - perfect! Best copy I have seen in years... This 7" promo single was given away to only a few at the time to promote the famous Mellow Candle album "Swaddling Songs" (Deram SDL 7), which is today indisputably one of the top 10 collector's holy grails in the world. It gained its legendary status given the high quality of the songwriting and performances are in inverse proportion to the tiny quantity of copies pressed... It was never repressed by Deram, but was bootlegged and has been subject to numerous limited reissues in recent years. Don't miss this mega-rare collectible ... see photo.
