The MELVINS " TRILOGY "   3 LP set, pressed in a limited edition of 1500 copies 10 years ago on IPECAC.   THREE (3) PICTURE DISC VINYL 12" LPs.   This copy is in NM condition, vinyl-wise.  Now 10 years old, and freakishly collectible.  Even VG copies sell for well over $100. This cover has no flaws, but we'll call it NM-.  Beautiful layout, as you can see in the photos. It's a double gatefold, with the 3 LPs each in their own section of the cover, and each in its individual inner sleeve.   There's a concept to the pictures on the vinyl.  There's basically a comical surprise, even though it comes off as a "heavy" statement, man. They're dealing in opposites.  And in symbols that people love and/or hate.  On one LP, there is a christian cross, and the flipside has a satanic symbol.  Another has the symbol for the Black Panthers with the flipside being the symbol of those high IQ Mensa members in the triple K organization.  Last but not least, there is a rather tasteful Star of David flipped with an ancient symbol that has come to symbolize hate.  They can't all be shown on eBay, so we've abbreviated the photos. Anywho... the LPs haven't been played. UNPLAYED VINYL! I very carefully slipped the albums partway out of their inner sleeves to photograph them for you.  This is one of the most complex Melvins pieces to date.  Three beautiful picture discs in a limited edition vinyl pressing that compiles three of their records, although it leaves off a couple of cuts to fit the music onto three records!  (Info below)     UNPLAYED VINYL
