Description

FINE example of very first Rough Trade release - from my own personal collection and bought by me soon after being released in 1977.
Iconic black, white and red paper sleeve, with inverted Eiffel Tower, is in very good+ condition with slight edge wear/creasing around the edges and slight ring wear - all consistent with a record of this age that has been handled and played with what I would describe as reasonable (and loving) care.
No dings, dents, splits or other wear and tear. Seams are still firmly stuck together - in fact, this is in remarkably good condition for its age.
Paper Rough Trade labels are in excellent condition - and so is the vinyl. Surfaces are virtually scratch-free, with a lovely original-looking sheen. Both sides still play really well with no background hiss etc.
"THIS ONE BITES" hand etched into A side runout and "THIS ONE AS WELL" hand etched into B side runout alongside song title.
A lovely authentic punk era must-have for anyone of a certain vintage who wants to replace a missing/lost/stolen copy or a newer fan with a gap in their collection.
