Description
Up for auction is an insanely rare original copy of the Metallica album Kill Em All, originally released on Megaforce Records (MRI-069) in 1983:
-Guaranteed original pressing -NOT an Elektra or more recent reissue -Factory Sealed original -Shrink has correct factory breathe holes -Shrink has the correct closing seam middle back cover
Note: It is incredibly rare when a true original pressing of this metal masterpiece shows up still sealed in its original factory shrink wrap. Collectors pay top dollar for sealed reissues on Elektra, but this one is the real deal, and a must have for an serious Metallica collector.
Condition: -The cover is beautiful, still nicely protected by factory shrink.
-No signs of wear or damage to the cover.
-All four corners are super sharp (see photos), no creases or significant bumps--very hard to find.
-And the shrink is completely intact at the corners, which is very rare.
-The front shrink has some very light rubbing wear from storage, but its still very shiny and clean. -Yes, it has the correct factory breathe holes to prove this has never been opened and resealed. -Bottom center edge has a very tiny nick to the shrink, about 1/4" that's hard to see (see photo) -Main seam on right where the record is inserted is completely sealed, no separations (see photo) -Otherwise, no tears, no separations, no fraying of the completely intact shrink -Along the spine, there are a couple tiny crease marks, very common for this cover, even sealed copies -Very hard to upgrade this copy, one of the nicest examples you'll ever see
The vinyl is presumed to be in Mint (M) condition, never opened, never played, never resealed.
Returns: As is the case with every vintage record seller, I do not accept returns on sealed albums once they have been opened by the buyer. Sealed albums are as valuable as they are because they are still sealed--and they appreciate in value with each passing year. In ten years, this album will probably double in value if it remains sealed.
