DARK SIDE OF THE MOON (MFSL 1-017 is perfect FACTORY SEALED), originally released in 1973, is one of those albums that is discovered anew by each generation of rock listeners. This complex, often psychedelic music works very wel because PINK FLOYD doesn’t rush anything; the songs are mainly slow and mid-temp, with attention paid throughout to musical texture and mood. The sound effects on songs like ON THE RUN – TIME – and especially MONEY (with sampled sounds of clinking coins and cash registers turned into rhythmic accompaniment) are impressive, especially when we remember that 1973 was before the advent of digital recording techniques. This is probably PINK FLOYD’s best known work. PINK FLOYD were incredibly talented pioneers and innovators who were a ground-breaking act who were many, many years ahead of their time capable of producing the most devastatingly original and brilliant music ever created.

The Cover/Booklet(gatefold-jacket) includes the complete original artwork, linernotes and Photos from the ORIGINAL-LP.  There corners are not damaged .... sorry,....the cover has a little seamsplit. With ..... original heavy MFSL-Polybag. It is not a cut-out. (No saw marks or drill holes.) It is a completely original USA-Pressing on the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, Inc (MFSL). This analogue LP is long out of print and is an extremely rare title.  This is one of the rarest MFSL titles to find, especially perfect .  This ANALOGUE LP comes from my own personal collection and smoke-free environment. ......
