MY GRADING SYSTEM

LPs are visually graded under a 100 watt light and play graded using a Garrard 401 turntable with a properly aligned tonearm and cartridge.

Sealed: Album still sealed in original shrink wrap and has never been opened

Mint: I do not use this grade

Near Mint (NM): LP appears new with perhaps a spindle mark but no marks on vinyl.  Plays with virtually no background noise.

Near Mint Minus (NM-):  LP still appears new with maybe a few occasional soft tics.

Very Good Plus Plus (VG++): Visually may have a few light sleeve marks or surface hairline scratches that do not sound.  Otherwise still looks new.  A more detailed description will be provided for each play-graded VG++ LP.

Very Good Plus (VG+): Vinyl still glossy but may have additional sleeve scuffs or surficial scratches.  There will be light tics and maybe occasional pops.  A more detailed description will be provided for each play-graded VG+ LP.
