Description

Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs version of Grateful Dead American Beauty MFSL 1-014. I am the original owner and have played it no more than three times. This is one of the very early pressings which has the plain white inner cardboard with no Mobile Fidelity advertising. Also includes original Mobile Fidelity inserts. One is a four page sheet with an article from The Absolute Sound, a listing of the Mobile Fidelity offerings as of April 1979, and an extensive list of equipment used for making the records. There is also a yellow form for quality control that you could mail to them if you found a problem with the pressing. The labels are a very colorful sunset as opposed to the bland white labels. Cover is VG+ due to some minor wear near the opening and slight wear on all four corners. It would be NM in someone else's eyes, but I am very particular and want to exceed your expectations. The vinyl looks NM with no scuff marks, scratches, or label defects of any kind thanks in part to the Japanese rice paper inner sleeve. Sorry, I can't play grade it as my equipment is too old. Kept in a non-smoking, temperature-controlled environment (no garages or basements despite spousal disagreements). Email me with any other questions about condition.
