Cafe Records is a label that Mobile Fidelity started when they decided to do their own recordings instead of using someone else's tapes. It was a short lived project, but what they did produce was very well done, and pressed in very small quantities. Only the best went into this particular recording - microphones modified by Joseph Grado, microphone pre-amps by Mitchell Cotter, and the Studer A-80 tape deck was modified by Mark Levinson. And of course; it was given the half speed mastering that MoFi was famous for, and pressed in Japan on JVC virgin vinyl. Very punchy sound.

The jacket is in beautiful condition with no splits, dents or bends, and nice sharp corners. There is a tiny drill hole in the lower right corner. The thin loose shrink wrap is completely intact with no rips or tears.
It is from a smoke free audiophile home.
