ORIGINAL 1977 GEMELLI LABEL STEREO PRESSING, CATALOG#. GBN 301, ITALY.
Fantastic and scarce LP from the vaults of Gemelli, this a real underrated jewel. KILLER italian Smooth Jazz Library with amazing Breaks, Jazzy drums, Lounge guitars, frenetic Piano and Fender Rhodes, hypnotic Jazz-Funk and Pop rhythms. Music composed and arranged by Massimo Guantini and Sandro Brugnolini, who signed all the tracks here. Barely appeared, this fantastic gem is still quite unknown and not to be missed.

General Smoothy and groovy, a dope Library with excellent Moody vibes. Nice Smooth Jazz on the opening "TOPOGRAFIE" followed by the fantastic "QUORUM", the best shot in my opinion with crazy Jazzy Breaks and nice guitar and Fender Rhodes solos. "SUGAR'S BREAD" features Jazzy drums and Downtempo Moody melody with Lounge refrains, reminiscents of Rino De Filippi's RIFLESSI. "ALTA VEGETAZIONE" is amazing hypnotic fast Electronic/Pop Jazz, easily on the Top Italian Modern Jazz. Another Downtempo shot "STORMY SESSION" with Fender Rhodes, Psychedelic winds, obstinated groovy backed by Moody Jazz drums. "SVILUPPO NEGATIVO" provides an usual theme considering the album style: cinematic tension/dramatic vocals, tensed and dark atmosphere. Rare and hard to get Italian Library especially in this pristine shape, unique!
Recorded at Emmequattro studios (Edipan studios), Rome, Italy. Arranged and directed by MASSIMO GUANTINI Sound engineer: Giovanni Fornari
